Mitsubishi opens new offices in San Fernando Business Park

Madrid 28 February 19

The Japanese engineering company has signed a 5-year lease with Drago to occupy approximately 1,300 square meters of office surface area. Mitsubishi Electric will install its new offices in the complex’s Europa building. In addition, San Fernando will have a training centre and a showroom.
This deal has closed just a month after Indra rented out 2,500 square meters to its subsidiary Prointec, and has been intermediated by Savills Aguirre Newman. Its architecture department, Savills Arquitectura, will be in charge of the project and the implementation works.

Mitsubishi also has offices in Barcelona, located in Sant Cugat del Vallès, and branches in Seville, Malaga, Valencia, Palma, Vitoria and Bilbao.

With this deal, San Fernando Business Park has absorbed almost 4,000 square metres of office gross leasable area, about 10% of the total office surface area leased in Corredor de Henares in 2018.

San Fernando Business Park was built in 1992 and was expanded in 2009. Nowadays, it has 86,000 square metres of gross leasable area, in which giants like Coca Cola, Volvo, Continental or Baxter operate.

The park located in San Fernando de Henares changed hands in 2018 when Oaktree Credit sold it for 120 million euros, just three years after acquiring it. Since July 2018, the park is managed by Drago.
